Fall 2010
My pictures somehow got mixed up. These should be below with the pictures from Vedauwoo. I can't figure out how to move them without erasing the others.
Mom and Dad went with Kelsey and I to Saratoga. Kelsey did a little fishing, Dad and Kelsey hung out in the Hobo hot spring in Saratoga, and I had some fun wading in the river.
Mom and Dad also went to see Martin's Cove and Independence rock with us. Kelsey and I climbed to the top. Not the smartest thing I've ever done with her, but we had a lot of fun.
We also wen to the Rawlins museum. This is the gas chamber. I don't remember this museum being so interesting when I was a kid. I think we all really enjoyed the tour. Never thought I could have so much fun in Rawlins:)

Up -Tight or Common Sense?
I don't have any pictures to post at the moment, but I have some information that I wanted to share.
So, this weekend, I decided to go to GR to help Shannon and John work on the house. On Sat. Shannon tells the kids to go in the front yard (by themselves) and wash out a spackling bucket. I'm not to fond of the idea of three little ones standing out in the front yard with no supervision. A while later, Shannon asks where Linken is. Are you joking? I go out front to find all the kids playing in the water, and as a mean aunt would do, I moved them all to the back yard. I then realize that the gate to the backyard doesn't work. Shannon says something like, "Linken will stay with the girls. He wont wonder off." Huh? Are you kidding me? After voicing my concern, for quite some time, John and Shannon finally fix the fence so the kids are locked in. Although I was a bit more satisfied, I was still nervous about the fact that the entire backyard was covered in boards filled with nails, disgusting old couch cushins that were probably filled with numerous creepy things, and rotten food. I picked up what I could, then cringed as I watched the kids play on the disgusting cushins. Later, I hear Shannon tell John's sister that I am up-tight with the kid-stuff. Huh???
Next, on Sunday afternoon, I walk into the bathroom to discover Linken playing in the toilet with Mom's hair brush and comb. He is covered from head to toe in toilet water. I get Shannon to take care of the situation. A few minutes later he walks into the kitchen still covered in the disgusting water. I go and find Shannon reading a book acting as if nothing had happened. I commented, "Linken is covered in toilet water." Shannon responds, "What do you want me to do about it?" Huh? Did she serously just say that? Needless to say, Liken did not get cleaned, and I thought to myself, "I don't think I'm as up-tight about the kid-stuff as you all think I am, I just have some common sense:)"

The Past Seven Months
I have finally gotten caught up!!! Here is a bit of what we have been up to over the past seven months.
The above pictures were taken out at Happy Jack (about 15 miles east of Laramie). Kels and I went there to watch my friend Jeff participate in a bike race. The pictures don't do the area justice - it is a beautiful place.
A fairy garden. Kelsey and I spent long time making this fairy garden. It turned out super cute. Unfortunately, we forgot to water it, and only one plant is still alive.
I love this picture too. It was a beautiful day. You wouldn't have guessed that we would wake up the next morning to snow. I'm starting to think that Utah is becoming more like Wyoming with each trip I take there.
Above, I took Kelsey to temple square. It's been a while since I've taken her there. She had a lot of fun. And as always, it was beautiful!
Below - The highlight of my year!!!
I finally graduated! If feels so nice to know that I am finally done with school. It was quite the undertaking, but I did it!!! I'm not sure who was more excited - me or Kels. She had a blast trying on the cap and gown and making sure I had a party afterward. She was so cute. She had mom take her to the cool toy store you all love and buy special candles that light up different colors. She also persuaded mom to take her to Walmart to buy a cake and balloons. It was super cute. I loved it!
Thanks Mom, Dad, and Kels. I love you!
The above picture is of my neighbor's floor. One day I hear these weird noises. I thought there was a problem with my water heater. Checked it out, and there didn't seem to be a problem. My neighbor then knocks on my door and asks if my toilet is flooding. I check out the bathroom and discover that all the water has been suck out of the bowl - it went into their house:) The next thing I know Kelsey yells, "mom there is water all over our kitchen floor. Wouldn't you know it. Sewage water had come up out of my washing machine - lovely. I got everything cleaned up, but another neighbor (a little old grandma) wasn't as fortunate. She had fallen asleep and the water kept coming while she was sleeping. When she woke up the water had seeped under the wall and flooded the next room. I don't know if you can see much from the picture, but it was horrible. I felt bad for her.
Below- Kelsey dressed up as Thing 2 for Dr. Suesse's birthday. We were pretty proud of our little costume until we realized that we got the color wrong. It should have been red!
