The Past Seven Months

I have finally gotten caught up!!! Here is a bit of what we have been up to over the past seven months.

Kelsey at the State Museum

Thunderbird's airshow

My buddy Justin

Above - Cheyenne Frontier Days. The summer would not be complete without a trip to Cheyenne to participate in Cheyenne Frontier Days. Although I am not a huge fan, we always find something fun to do. This year Kelsey and I picked up Justin, and we spent Wednesday morning watching the Thunderbird's airshow. Afterward, Kels and I went to the State Museum, the Indian Village, and the mall. Made for a long day, but it was fun.

This is a weird picture. It looks like I was super-imposed into the background.

The above pictures were taken out at Happy Jack (about 15 miles east of Laramie). Kels and I went there to watch my friend Jeff participate in a bike race. The pictures don't do the area justice - it is a beautiful place.

This is my bike-racing friend Jeff.

Wacky hair day at the day care

A fairy garden. Kelsey and I spent long time making this fairy garden. It turned out super cute. Unfortunately, we forgot to water it, and only one plant is still alive.

Oldest and youngest cousins. About thirty-one years in between us.

Grandma Walker's funeral

I absolutely love this picture of mom and Kels. I'm not sure why, but I think it is super cute.

The following pictures were taken at Grandma's viewing.

Gotta love the Utah mountains.

I love this picture too. It was a beautiful day. You wouldn't have guessed that we would wake up the next morning to snow. I'm starting to think that Utah is becoming more like Wyoming with each trip I take there.

The above pictures were taken at the family picnic we had in Orem, Ut before grandma passed away.

Above, I took Kelsey to temple square. It's been a while since I've taken her there. She had a lot of fun. And as always, it was beautiful!

Above- part of the family in Park City, Ut. We stayed at Grandma and Grandpa Silvers before heading down to the family picnic. They are such good sports to let us drop in unannounced all the time:)

Below - The highlight of my year!!!

I finally graduated! If feels so nice to know that I am finally done with school. It was quite the undertaking, but I did it!!! I'm not sure who was more excited - me or Kels. She had a blast trying on the cap and gown and making sure I had a party afterward. She was so cute. She had mom take her to the cool toy store you all love and buy special candles that light up different colors. She also persuaded mom to take her to Walmart to buy a cake and balloons. It was super cute. I loved it!
Thanks Mom, Dad, and Kels. I love you!

A girl in the program - Noelle

This is my defense partner Tanya. We spent way to many hours together writing one of our big papers, but we pulled it off!!!

The above picture is of my neighbor's floor. One day I hear these weird noises. I thought there was a problem with my water heater. Checked it out, and there didn't seem to be a problem. My neighbor then knocks on my door and asks if my toilet is flooding. I check out the bathroom and discover that all the water has been suck out of the bowl - it went into their house:) The next thing I know Kelsey yells, "mom there is water all over our kitchen floor. Wouldn't you know it. Sewage water had come up out of my washing machine - lovely. I got everything cleaned up, but another neighbor (a little old grandma) wasn't as fortunate. She had fallen asleep and the water kept coming while she was sleeping. When she woke up the water had seeped under the wall and flooded the next room. I don't know if you can see much from the picture, but it was horrible. I felt bad for her.

Kelsey's $3.00 Easter dress from WalMart

Below- Kelsey dressed up as Thing 2 for Dr. Suesse's birthday. We were pretty proud of our little costume until we realized that we got the color wrong. It should have been red!
